The status dropdown disappeared

I moved Redmine to a new server and now i noticed that I can no longer change the status on anything. There is not even a dropdown it just shows current status. I changed all the users to a new member name and then changed the workflow so they everyone has access to all of the status options. There still is no change though and no option to close a ticket. Does anyone know what is going on?
oop nevermind.. it was because everyone was removed from the group.
