Unable to upload file under "Files" tab

I'm running Xubuntu 8.04 and BitnamiRedmine stack, which includes the following:
- Redmine 0.7.3
- Apache 2.2.8
- ImageMagick 6.3.6
- MySQL 5.0.51a
- Subversion 1.4.6
- Ruby 1.8.6
- Rails 2.0.2
- RubyGems 1.0.1

Anyway...when I go to upload a file via the "Files" tab, nothing happens. Also, I am unable to give each file a version (maybe that's why it's not actually uploading?). I'd really like to be able to do this. Oh, and yes I do have the proper permissions set. All other functions seem to be working fine. Please advise.

Yes, you need to some version to your project in the project settings "version" tab. I ran into the same issue. File uploads worked fine then.
