Wiki Folder Structure Help

Added by Chris Underwood over 13 years ago

I'm trying to create a Wiki in Redmine that I can also use as help screens for my software. The problem that I run into is that the folder structure for the wiki is flat, so if I have a structure like Accounting\Leger\General_Information.html and Accounting\Budget\General_Information.html I can't have two pages named General_Information in the wiki. I tried the trick of renaming the first page to Accounting_Ledger_GeneralInformation, but when I create the second page the first page shows up and I cannot change the data on the page without making changes to the first one. I've noticed that a few wiki pages have a wiki\1\pagenamhere, but could not find any way to change the directory structure or enable it. I'm running BitNami Redmine Stack 1.0.2-0 on Windows Server 2003.

Here's what the Bitnami Stack setup includes:
- Redmine 1.0.2
- Apache 2.2.16
- ImageMagick 6.5.8
- MySQL 5.1.50
- Subversion 1.6.12
- Ruby 1.8.7-p249
- Rails 2.3.9
- RubyGems 1.3.7

Any ideas or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

The wiki structure in redmine currently is flat and would require major changes to get directorized, the only solution currently is to select unique page names.
