Sharing issues with subprojects

I'm not sure whether this is a feature or a defect, so I hope that this is the right place for my post:

I defined a new 'version' for a subproject and selected 'share with project hierarchy'. The version then occurs in the "parent-project" - so far so good.

But if I create a 'new issue' in the "parent-project" and select the entry of the subproject as the 'target version', this new issue is listed only in the roadmap of the parent-project (where I created the issue) and not in the sub-project (to which I assigned the issue).

Did I missed some configurations of the project? Or is this just a 'missing feature' in redmine?

As far as I remember this is a missing feature indeed... Search the existing issues if one, requesting the described feature, exists already or open a new one if needed.
