Hello all,

So I am trying to make it so that when a user submits a request (this user already has an account created) via email, even if they are not part of the particular project (the project is public) - I want them to receive email updates....is this even possible?

Example:

I send in a ticket for someone to fix something on my computer. I am a regular user that has no rights to the Public Project named "IT". Without that access, the user is not able to be made a watcher or receive emails at all.

If I put them in a group and enable them to "View Issues" it works just fine. As soon as I take that away - it removes the emailing all together.

I don't understand what I can do to make this possible.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
