Problem after installing plugin

Dear fellow redminers!
I'm in the need of assistance after bricking my redmine due to the installation of the "redmine_tags" plugin. My ruby knowledge is limited which may be the overall origin and the uniqueness of my error, according to google.
After copying the plugin into .../redmine/vendor/plugins and the execution of sudo rake gems:install, following error appears:
uninitialized constant Rails::Plugin::AutoCompletesController
I installed redmine according to the manual found on this page for ubuntu environments.
Please let me know if there is anything I need to show.

.... I fixed it! a
wget http://redmine.rubyforge.org/svn/branches/1.0-stable/app/controllers/auto_completes_controller.rb
into
/redmine/app/controllers
followed by a restart of apache did the trick.
