Redmine wiki - inline image url to an external image does not seem to work

I am trying to reference a yuml.me image in my wiki. I have followed the syntax provide for inline image url

!http://yuml.me784e52a!

However, nothing shows up. I have tried the same syntax with other websites, too. The syntax works if the file on the Redmine server, say under files.

How do I reference an external image inline in the wiki?

I tested with Redmine 1.2.0, and linking to an external image works, I tried this one: !http://images.anandtech.com/doci/4523/usb-3.0-superspeed_carousel.jpg! (I put this in notextile tags)

However, your link doesn't even work if I open it directly with my browser, so there might be the error.
