Duplicate project: cannot be delete or archive properly

Added by Paul Liao over 12 years ago

We created a project but it was a mistake and we wanted that one to be delete. But we cannot delete that project. The weird thing too is the project is in two different locations in the project page. One in the appropriate subproject and the other is in the root project.

I removed all the issues within the project. But whenever we delete it in the Administrations/Project page, it goes back to it's home page.

And this particular project is under a subproject but the weird thing is it's also in the Root. Whenever, I tried to archive it, it archives in subproject location, but it still shows in the root.

I'm using the latest redmine 1.2.1. Now, when I tried to update it to remove all the trackers, it says that the identifier is already been taken. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks.

Is there a way to safely delete the project directly in the database? The project has a lot of trackers it it, and that's my concern because I can't remove all the trackers within that project.

If anyone have the same problem, we cannot delete the project because of a bug in Project Tree View plugin. Apparently I didn't download the latest version which is compatible with Redmine 1.2.0.

I removed the plug in and remove the duplicate projects. However after this fix, another issue arises.

What happens next to our projects is that it mess all the projects. Projects aren't in the right subprojects. I have to perform ruby script/runner -e production 'Project.rebuild!' command to fix the project tree.
