Access to the project without authorization
Added by Vitaly Tychenok about 13 years ago
Hello.
There is a problem. I need to make one of the projects in Redmine accessible without authorization. That is open to all.
How can I do?
Thanks for your help.

There is a checkbox called 'Public' in your project's settings (within the first tab Information). If you activate this, every user is able to view this project.

disable authentification in settings and set projects to public/nonpublic or install a second redmine instance without auth and the public project

I did it, but still only who has been authorized can see the project.

Customer does not like this option.
We need to do so that when the user enters the URL as 'redmine_url/projects/project_name' he once opened a page with the project. To access the other projects required authorization.

You also have to disable auth in settings. Do not forget to disable public for all other projects.

Did as you advised. Now everything is fine.
I hope users of the system will be happy in such a change)
Thank you all.
