Problem in mylyn-redmine connection
Added by Marco Plebani about 16 years ago
Hi all,
I've just installed the 0.7.3 version of redmine into an Ubuntu 8.04 and it works vey well on the browser side. Now I want to use the integration with Mylyn. I followed the instructions provided by the redmine wiki and this is the result. The connector is able to connect to my redmine installation, but it cannot retrieve any tasks.
But, whether I try to create a new task, the internal the application bring me to the correct web page.
I already read the information provided by Carl Gneisenau in http://www.redmine.org/account/show/1474, but his explanation does not help me.
any suggestion?
Thanks in advance for your help.

hi,
I resolved my problem. I change some configuration in Eclipse Mylyn Repository and Query and It works now.
I noticed that Mylyn does not show any errors if the username and password are not correctly inserted.
ciao!!

Could you say what you changed? I have the same problem

I had the same problem: Connection seemed to work, but the issues did not show up. Apparently, the docs are a little dated: If you delete the "show" from the query-url:
${serverUrl}/projects/issues
instead of
${serverUrl}/projects/issues/show
the issues show up in mylyn. Editing works via the web-integration, so I'm all happy with the mylyn-integration for now. You can even throw in a:
${serverUrl}/projects/<your_project>/issues
to show only the issues for your project. Still have to look into the mylyn-plugin though(http://redmin-mylyncon.wiki.sourceforge.net/) to see, if it is possible to lift the rest of the issue-fields into mylyn...
