Issue filter problem
Added by Mario Luzeiro about 13 years ago
When I choose "Subject" (or other?) in issue filters, if I press "Enter" key it reports that some bug happen. (check the attached image)
But If I press Apply in the filter it works OK.
Is that a bug or maybe my problem?
I'm using last redmine SVN

This might be related to #9108, could you please describe in details how to reproduce the bug, I can't?
Do you have any plugins installed?

Without any plugins I'm also not able to reproduce the error with a current vanilla Redmine trunk. I've tried numerous of combinations to be able to reproduce this issue based on the info of the screenshot.
Also, some thing I noticed: the screenshot shows the error while running QueriesController#new
. That action should not / could not be triggered by either pressing enter in the filter-selection (points to apply
instead of save
) not by clicking the apply button itself.
For some pointers of what info to include in here, see submissions.

I do have (lots of) plugins installed =)
I check the #9108 bug and I also have problem with the SAVE button, same thing happens
I send attached my environment.
Also sometime when I press apply, it does not apply the filtering, and show no fields.. I need to press apply again to reset the status.
I don't know it the plugin "Redmine Show Descriptions plugin" is contributing to that problem...

Could you please try to remove temporarily your plugins (just move the directories away and restart instance)?

I remove the "Redmine Show Descriptions plugin" and it seams to work now.
So that plugin is causing the bug.
But I found another problem.
There is how I reproduce it:
I select to filter subject then type the subject and press enter. it works
If I press apply it works.
If I press Save it works (New query menu appear), but then If I got back and dont save, press enter will make thi "new query menu appear.
Also press apply will make new query appear, dont know if its expected.

Please report this issue to the plugin author.
