Inline editing of issue attributes

We started to use Redmine more actively recently for planning larger projects.

Editing individual attributes of a large list of issues (for example estimated hours) can be quite cumbersome:

open the task --> Update --> More

Is there a way to edit the attributes directly on the displayed list of issues (Ajax)?

At RedmineX, we are currently working on this plugin as it is the most voted for plugin in our roadmap: https://www.redmine-x.com/redmine-x-plugins/roadmap/issue-list-inline-edit. Estimated time of release: September 2022. Stay tuned.

At RedmineX we released the Inline Edit Issue List that enables you to edit Redmine issues from the issue list without page reload. It also has a super-fast issue search.
