Starting menu

My database is MySQL, running Redmine 1.3.0, ruby187, using mongrel and rails is 3.1.3

Alright after setting up Redmine finally I have ran into a new issue. I started by logging in as the default admin, i am guessing it worked since it didn't kick back a wron user/pass error. It brought to a page that said "You are being redirected" then i click on the redirected hyperlink and it drops me back onto the home page. THe issue is that i am not logged in. At the top right it says Sign in/register. So I am wondering what it means.

Also as a side not, the redirecting page doesn't redirect, I have to click the redirect link for it to do anything at all. Also registering users works, but i can't log them in saying invalid name/pass every time. But they are saved because i can't re register the names and emails.
