scheduling

Added by Sim Zacks over 12 years ago

I am testing out redmine as a project management software for an internal software project with 3 programmers.
I installed bradbeattie's schedules plugin and it didn't work (RuntimeError: No plugin called 'redmine_schedules' - please use the full name of a loaded plugin.) It also doesn't look like its been very maintained in the past couple years. I also installed the Better Gantt Chart plugin.

I didn't see a fix for this issue in my google search, but I did notice that Schedule is not in the redmine plugin list. Is this supported anymore? Is there a better way to do scheduling? Any advice?

Thanks
Sim

The schedules plugin is indeed not very up to date. Though it should run on Redmine 1.2.x and 1.3.x. It certainly will break on Redmine 1.4.x. Despite that, it shouldn't be that difficult to update the plugin to work on current Redmine versions. I've posted some issues about this already to the issue tracker of the plugin (@ projects.littlestreamsoftware.com). Also some other people have already adopted some fixes in their GitHub forks of the plugin.

Looking at the error you've posted I think you rather have a problem with the name of the plugins directory. It should be: redmine_schedules (which is what the error-message is telling you).

Besides the currently available issues I think it would be the best shot of fulfilling your scheduling need.

Got it.
When cloning from git it uses - instead of _
