1. Under the Metrics Tab, I am gettin an error (see jpg 1) no report tracker.

2. There is a cost evolution Profile and I need to find out how to convert units to $ vice euro symbol? (see jpg 2)

Hi, I'm the (main) author.

For the plugin to work you need to first create a "report" in the project. The cmi:create_data rake task should have created a reports tracker (with the spanish name Informes).

About the second problem... units don't really matter, it's just an inconvenience. Think it's really $ and every result should match that expectation.

In the next version of the plugin I'm doing a little trick, guessing the currency from Redmine's default language. Maybe you'll want to test it.

The JP, AF... are just different roles with different costs. You can use the ones you like, just change the possible values of the "Perfil" users custom field.

Aaron, I now see you have had quite a few problems with the plugin. If you test the next version and want to report any problem you find in the issue tracker of the main repo that would be great.

Jose, Thanks for the feedback, I was able to get the Report, Informes, etc.. to work properly. I realized my error, I even converted the $ sign. The main issue I have now, and eventually caused me to uninstall the CMI Plugin was, it does not allow me to log my hours (Spent Time) for tasks. is there a way to correct that?

I am certainly willing to try the new version. Any special Install instructions. Some tips on how to use the Roles and the Tool would be really nice as there are no written instructions. I am not a developer so I need easy to understand instructions please.

I appreciate your time, Mucho Gusto.

Spent time is a Redmine feature. Open a task and you will see the link to enter your spent time. There are various plugins that provide a better mechanism to enter spent time but the default method works.

The spent time field is only available in tasks when the time tracking module is enabled.

About the install instructions, the readme is not updated, but it should be the same as the published version with a couple changes:

  • The new version uses redmine permissions, so you should configure them in administration, roles and permissions.
  • You should also configure other plugin options in administration, plugins.

I don't usually hang around here, but if you have any problem you can contact me by direct email or, even better, through the mailing list.

Thank you both for your insterest :)

Hey, I loaded the new module for CMI, the test version, and I like it much better howevr it still interferes with Redmines time tracking module. I only have issues logging time when I install CMI. I f I remove CMI, I can log time just fine.
