how do I add the same issue on multiple projects at once?
Added by Simone Priori about 16 years ago
It's possible to add the same issue on multiple projects at once?
If is not possible there is an alternative method (ex. email, csv, directly in the database)?
I searched the forum but I did not find any answer to my problem.
Thank you in advance
(sorry for my english)

As far as I know an issue belongs to one project and only one. Maybe one of your projects depends on another, then you can use "subprojects" functionnality. Issues declared in the subproject can appear in the main project, if you checked the correct option in your admin menu.
Can you precise your problem ? In my Redmine organisation, projects are distinct/disconnected from each other...

This is my problem:
- different projects
- a library common to all projects
if I make changes to the library (ex. change of a function), these changes require a modify in the use of function in each individual project and I would like to keep track of this in each individual project.
For this I can not put the issue in the main project, because I would track the status of issue in each project.
I hope that I explained.
Thank you.

OK, I see the point. Don't really know how to do honestly. Maybe anybody else will be able to help you, good luck!

Alternatively, it would not be possible in future versions to add an option to select one or more projects (subprojects) when copy an issue ?
Thank you
