Removing roadmap

We are using Redmine for a non-software project that does not have versions. Is there any way to remove the Roadmap tab from the top "menu" to reduce clutter? While at it, any way to remove the "Target version" field from the New issue page?

I don't know which version you're using but with current trunk (and the forecoming 0.8), if you have no version defined on your project, then:
  • the roadmap is hidden
  • the target version field is hidden

Sounds great, I'll have to upgrade. Although I noticed in the code that I'm running I have that versions are required for file uploads. Will file uploads work in the current trunk even when no versions are defined?

The same file upload dependency on versions exists in 0.8.0-RC1. I reported issue #2297
