Server redmine quota planning

Added by Michael Powell almost 12 years ago

Hello, I am planning a server to host redmine and would like to get a flavor for how much growth I can expect. We may install some helpful plugins, like burndown, charts, or things like this, if it helps to get an idea. Will likely go on a Linux VM (perhaps Ubuntu, Mint, etc, don't know quite yet).

Also, I'm relatively a Linux newbie, familiar with UNIX from some time ago, but it's been awhile. Are there any good tutorials what to expect choosing the right infrastructure, like installing LAMP, or what not?

Since it will initially go on a VM, is 100 GB too little? Or what else to expect?

Thanks....

Hi Michael,

there was this topic some time ago ... check this: http://www.redmine.org/boards/1/topics/32229
I admit it's for a windows server, but it gives you an impression. As the growth heavily depends on the usage, I can't give you advice on sizing the virtual hdd...
