Redmine 2.1.2 installation failed on Ubuntu 12.04.

Added by Sebastian Kruse over 11 years ago

I'am trying to install Redmine 2.1.2 at Ubuntu 12.04 by the method from this tutorial: http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/HowTo_Install_Redmine_in_Ubuntu but after I add the ppa link and try to install the redmine package I only get the following error message:

rake aborted!
No such file or directory - /etc/redmine/default/session.yml

At Ubuntu 10.04 this will work but the ppa gives me a 0.9.3 version of Redmine not the 2.1.2. How can I fix this for Ubuntu 12.04 to make Redmine 2.1.2 running on it?

From the PPA page:

WARNING: The repository is currently in unstable state due transition to redmine 2, and it will take some time to do the proper testing. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Perhaps there's an error in the repository, you might have to ask the guy who created it...
