changing from ip/redmine to just ip_adress

So I have a minor problem with hosting my redmine server. I want to just type the IP adress in to the address bar and be at the server login page rather than ip_address/redmine. How would i go about changing it? Thank you in advance.

  • Appliance (BitName) or self-installed?
  • Operating system?
  • Application server?
  • Web server?

Sorry it was a long night setting up everything its running Apache2 and the apache2 mod passenger ( along with mysql if that matters). to install i followed the first ubuntu guide found in the how to install for linux page on this site (sorry it wont let me link as it thinks its spam)
