How to know one's roles and permissions ?

On a redmine installation, as a simple user (and not an admin) :
  • Is there a centralized place where I can see what projects I am member of ? What roles I have in these ? Or should I check each projects, each role, and see if my name is mentioned ?
  • Is there a way to know the permissions assigned to each role ? To my roles ? Is there a centralized place to see the union of all my permissions ?

Sure, just click "Projects"

Also, go to your profile page by clicking on your username at the top of the page ("Logged in as ..."). It will give a list of your projects and your role in each all in one place.
