Is there a way to open documents that have been uploaded to an issue and edit / save to the original document rather than having to download and then re-upload a new version of the document? We are using testing logs and the original document needs to be updated to prevent multiple people from editing the document at one time. In addition, having multiple copies of the same document creates a horrendous document storage issue. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Don't think that's possible.

Anyway, doesn't this kind of defeat the idea of redmine to have the issue-related stuff readily available in the issue itself? Full text search would also be possible...

Of course, your users could always delete all other versions of your document and just keep the latest.

Or use the DMSF plugin with webDAV...
