Use of classes in Redmine Wiki

Added by Guillaume Kolman about 11 years ago

Hello everyone,

We started to use CSS classes to improve readability on redmine. It's really easy to add a custon theme with custom classes to use in our Wiki, and to use them on paragrafs, on spans and in tables.

Any idea on how we could specify a class ...?
  • For a full list (not a span in each bullet point, but a class on the full list, for borders, position...
  • For a div or a set of elements (for instance, if i want to gather a p, a list & a table in a div, how could i do so ? and then could i add a class ?)

We thought we could use a table but we would then be limited for direct (not included) content (no titles...)

Thanks in advance for your help, and thanks in general for the good word :)
Guillaume

Hello Guillaume,

To add HTML elements to a Wiki, you can make a plugin similar to WikiNG

Cheers,

Hi, Guillaume!

You can also use {{div_start_tag}} and {{div_end_tag}} from Wiki extensions.

Thus, you can put the list into such div and style it using, e.g., div.class_name ul { ... }.

P.S. WikiNG is going to include similar functionality in its next version too.
P.S.2 Thanks, Martin, for mentioning WikiNG! :)
