Dependencies between fields

Hi!

Is it possible to make dependent custom fields?
I need to link 2 fields:

equipment
part

Depending on equipment user should be able to select different parts
I.e. if equipment is "Computer", there should be parts:

Power
Mainboard
CPU
...

if equipment is "Printer", there should be parts:

toner
paper
...

Is it even possible?

For something like you described, you will need to make a plugin.
