Permission problem when accessing GIT repo

Added by Ivan Galkin over 10 years ago

Dear gurus,
I have redmine 2.3.1-1, SUSE 12.3, installed in the root capacity. I have a GIT repository in a folder hidden from "others". The folder is owned by root, and its group is abc. My task is to add the redmine user to the abc group that has rx permissions to that folder. I tried adding daemon to abc, but it does not help. The moment I open folder to others, the repo is visible.
And so the question is -- how can I find who is asking that rx permission so that I can add her to abc group?
THANKS
E1
