Question about "file system" in Redmine and webserver

Added by scandelo scandelo about 10 years ago

Hello all, i would be happy for any ideas, tips, help.
Im looking for Cooperation system with project management, filesystem for our small team.
We have about 250 project yearly, many smaller.
And because we are on 3 separately offices in Europe, we have one file server where are all data.
Its possible to use redmine to combine project management with this data?
But what I want is to acces all by redmine uploaded files with e.g. WebDAV out of redmine AND upload more files with webDAV so, that they are automaticaly recognized in redmine (for examle by Foldername...)
What do you think about this? If redmine cant do this, do you know about some web-based project management system?

Thank you!!!

We have very similar needs and my webdav plugin may be a solution. I didn't update the description but current release is compatible with the last version of redmine (I use it with redmine 2.4.2 in production).

Thank You Arnaud!
Can you tell me, if its exist another plugin, sftp or... ?
I m looking for right solution for our team.
I had Redmine, Open Atrium, tine20, groupoffice etc.
But I want to have it on Synology NAS and "autonome" filesystem is necessary. If we have e.g. 50 files in more directory, its impossible and uncomfortable to upload/download file by file...
Do you know to take advice with another project management or collaboration systems?

Sorry but I only use Redmine (not on a synology) and I can't give any advice about another project management system...
