Creating links to changesets

When we try to create links to revisions/changesets to our subversion repository in a comment of a ticket, then those do not show immedeately as links. For example, when we write "This has been fixed in r6733" then no link for 6733 is being displayed for a long time. At one point it shows up as a link though. I can't figure out why? How can we make sure that anything like "rREVISIONNUMBER" shows up immedeately as link to the changeset of the repository?

From RedmineSettings:

If you want to reference issues without using keywords, enter a single star: * in the Referencing keywords (Administration/Repository) setting. In this case, any issue ID found in the message will be linked to the changeset.
