Cannot upload files bigger than 2MB? (but it worked until this morning)

Added by Rob HHH6 over 9 years ago

Hi,

I have a weird problem: from one moment to another, I am unable to upload files bigger than 2MB. Before this morning, I've uploaded (for instance in tickets) files of several dozens of MBs without any problem. Absolutely NO change in the configuration -- I am the server's administrator, no one else has the rights to to that.
If I try to upload, for example to a forum, an attachment of 2.3MB, the result is like in the picture. If I click "Save", the attachment is totally ignored.
Nothing appears in the logs.
On the net, some people claim that this is a nginx problem and that I have to add
client_max_body_size 3M;
to /etc/nginx/nginx.conf in the http section. I've set this at 900M and now to 0 (which should be "unlimited"), put the same value in the availables-sites entry too -- since the former was not working, rebooted N times, but still absolutely no way to make it work...
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks a lot in advance!
R

Ok, problem solved, I've changed the parameter tens of times, then modified the binary_hash_size param too, and this seemed to make the difference. Now it works.
