language settings for redmine// language mix (german/english)

i recently installed redmine and actually start using it. one thing that really bugs me, is that languages seem to get mixed together.
in the admin settings is set the lanugage to english, still some parts of redmine are displaed in german.

any ideas where i can set those values or set redmine to "english-only" (which would be the most convenient)?
