installing redmine on shared hosting (application error)
Added by Ben Zo over 16 years ago
hi
this is a continuation of a post of mine in the old forum https://rubyforge.org/forum/forum.php?thread_id=23012&forum_id=7505
I have now the following problem:
- my redmine installation runs with 'ruby script/server e production' on http://mydomain.tld:3000 but it doesn't run on the webserver on http://mydomain.tld, the error:
"Application error
Rails application failed to start properly"
below are some information about my environment. I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me little bit, or show me how I can help myself :-).
thanks

Hi Ben,
Did you have to do anything to get svn integration (just repo viewing) to work at joyent? That's the only part of my install on a shared accelerator that I haven't been able to get working. I'm guessing that svn isn't in the path of the user that redmine is running under going by the mongrel log, but I'm not sure yet.
