Migrating from Teamforge (Collabnet) to Redmine

Added by Cindy Park almost 8 years ago

I have used Teamforge made by Collabnet for years, in business.

And want to change it to Redmine. I already set up the environments for using Redmine.

Since lots of data accumulated on Teamforge, I want to migrate data from Teamforge to Redmine.

I found the way to migrate from trac or jira to Redmine, but couldn't find the way to migrate from Teamforge to Redmine.

Are there any way to migrate or tools for that?

Please let me know whether there is the way or not.

Thank you.

As far as I know there is no migration script for Teamforge currently, but if you can export the data in CSV format, you could use Redmine's CSV importer to load issues into Redmine.

Alternatively, if hosting your Redmine with Planio was an option, you could simply make use of our free data migration service for new customers. Our engineers would implement a custom importer script for you and load the data into your Planio hosted Redmine. As part of that work, we would also be happy to release the resulting migration script back to the community, so that everyone benefits.

If that is of interest to you, please let me know.

That's a good business.
But the purpose of changing to redmine is to reduce the payment for version control and issue tracking.
I think that not easy to use hosting service.
Thank you for your help and happy new year.
