Document Management System ?

Hello everyone, How do you guys handle documentation? We love dmsf but we can't give folderwise permissions to groups/users. Do you guys use any open source document management system that can integrate with redmine? Or is there even a commercial/closed source DMS that works well with redmine? Any pointers will be really appreciated.

To answer my own question, at least partially,it seems like dmsf is adding role based access functionality. That should take care of majority of our issue, hopefully.
