how to upload ldap certificate

I want our users to authenticate over the ldaps Servers. I got a proxyuser for that and a certificate and should be able to connect over SSL and port 636.
I managed a test with a ldap browser, but only after exchanging the certificate from the ldaps Server.
Where or how can I upload the certicate for the redmine ldaps connect?

We now have redmine 0.8.3, is there a chance that this issue with ldap will be better in 0.9 of redmine?
