I want a custom field that basically works like an extra "description" field.

I've created a new custom field called "My Long Text". It is a long text field. "Text formatting" is enabled.

When editing: it would be nice if it was full width in the edit form.

When showing search results: There's already an option to "Show: Description" which will show the description full-width below each table row in the search results. I want this for a custom field. Since it says "Show:" and there's a checkbox" for "description" it seems like there should be a way to make other things besides "description" show up here, but I can't figure out how.

Is there a way? A new plugin I could use?
