How to handling attachments (uploads) of custom fields via REST API ?

I have custom field of type file in versions.
I wish update/create a new "version" via REST API with JSON and set a custom field with file.

So, prior create a new version, do upload file via uploads.json (REST Api).

How to vincule uploaded file with custom field ?

Already try set ID of file in value of custom field, but not working.
