API: Receive custom field values on project level via API

Hi,

I would like to get and set custom fields on project level via API. Is this possible?
Using the API I find custom fields that are on issue level. That works great but I cannot get this information on project level.

Acording to this you can set project's custom fields, but you can't retrieve them.
