Shared info across projects

Added by Christophe Absil over 11 years ago

Hello,

just wondering if there is a way to share infos (let's say FAQ) across multiple projects. The reason is : I don't want to copy/paste all the FAQ's along the different projects. Instead, I would like to have the following structure : A general FAQ for several projects and a specific FAQ for each project.

Is this possible,

Regards

This is where I use subprojects, you create a parent project which has your overall FAQs, Docs, News, etc and shows the activity of all the subprojects. then each subproject can have it's ovn set of files which are specific to it.

Ok thanks for the answer but I already use subprojects to split the pure support tasks from the development task. Since there is only one level possible, I think this is not helpfull for me. But I think there is something in the pipe about multiple level in the next version, isn't it ?

Yes, the next major release (0.9.0) will allow projects to be nested deeper than one level. #594

about sharing info, is it possible to include subprojects tickets in a parent's ticket version?
