Redmine

Hi,

I'm using LDAP to authenticate users in my Redmine installation. I've set the mail attribute as my user ID and the problem is, quite a few of them are longer than 30 characters. I would like to extend this to a larger value.

What would the proper way be to do this while still ensuring that future SVN updates would still work? If I create a new rake DB migration script, I'm just worried that the versioning would clash with future SVN updates.
