How to route url-root to a project
Added by Stefan Huchler over 15 years ago
I hope i did not miss the solution somewhere in another Post or Bugreport.
When i go to the redmine.org site I get directly to the overview site of the project Canta, the url is clean www.redmine.org not <site>/projects/redmine.
How did you do this, with mod_rewrite or with changing the route.rb file or is there another way to go?
There is a bugreport that this should be configurable (define default project) I think that would be great to see.
But if someone give me a hint, how this is done on this site, i would also be glad.

ok got it done my self.
First I tryed to do it with mod_redirect, mod_rewrite would only make the urls look prettier but would not redirect to the wiki start-page. But all what i got was the normal project overview but without css loaded.
The solution is to use the homepage-plugin from this site:
