How to make a new Project copy of an entire project and sub-project with issues?
Added by Akhil Kuduvalli over 15 years ago
Hi all,
I am using 0.8.4 and I installed it from the Bitnami stack.
I am using it for Manufacturing Process tracking and hence would like to copy a project along with its subprojects and all its issues, and create a new project by editing it.
Is it possible to do this?
Please let me know how? Thanks a lot!!

I am not sure in 0.8.4 but u can do it in the latest svn image , I guess this is officially targetted for 0.9.
You can go to Administration > Projects -> Copy.
Only Administrator can do a project copy.
I am also looking for a method in by which project managers can do it and not only Redmine Admin.
Thanks
Saurabh

I have this same problem.
As an admin, I did a Project Copy, but it only copied the main project, but not the subprojects.
How do you copy an entire project with its subprojects?

Same here with 1.2.1. Is this feature implemented?

I think it's worth asking this question again with Redmine 2.1...
