InnoDB Error? 500 Error on all Wiki Pages

Added by Lee Taylor over 14 years ago

Hi all,

We are having trouble viewing all Wiki pages within every project of our Redmine instance. We recently had issues with a corrupt InnoDB table on our account (not related to Redmine), and recognize this may have caused a DB issue within Redmine.

Here's our error log

I am at least seeing a log entry in the production log for this error now.
Entry follows:

Rendering /home/accountName/public_html/pm/test/redmine-0.8/public/500.html (500 Internal Server Error)

Here is our server tech's response

I was able to resolve the main innodb error, but the rake db script actually runs into it again for some reason.

Here is the error: 090813 7:17:40 InnoDB: Error: table `accountName_newred/schema_migrations` already exists in InnoDB internal InnoDB: data dictionary. Have you deleted the .frm file InnoDB: and not used DROP TABLE? Have you used DROP DATABASE InnoDB: for InnoDB tables in MySQL version <= 3.23.43? InnoDB: See the Restrictions section of the InnoDB manual. InnoDB: You can drop the orphaned table inside InnoDB by InnoDB: creating an InnoDB table with the same name in another InnoDB: database and copying the .frm file to the current database. InnoDB: Then MySQL thinks the table exists, and DROP TABLE will InnoDB: succeed. InnoDB: You can look for further help from InnoDB: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/InnoDB_troubleshooting_datadict.html

That table does not exist. I created and dropped it without issue. I am unsure why your application or db might be running into this error.

You may have to open a ticket with the redmine maintainers on this, because I am unsure what in that application would cause this. It does not appear to be related to the server configuration. The db for that application also passes all consistency checks.

Can anyone shed some light regarding the issues we are having?

Cheers!

*Bump.

Just wondering possible solutions how we can save a partial amount of the data. Thanks...
