Hi,
I'm new to redmine (and web development in general) and I spent pretty much all day figuring out how to get redmine setup. Now I know I can do it in about 10 minutes...
I had it working fine until I started trying to get the SMTP server setup correctly...
I was going back and forth trying settings to get gmail smtp configured, but after a few attempts I lost access to Administration --> Settings ... It just stays at the admin page and the browser keeps cycling. No timeout, no page change, nuthin... Everything else still works though...
I have since nuked that install and re-installed just to be safe, but the problem followed me.
Not sure if it matters, but in my database.yml I have to use the 'development' settings and not 'production'. This is a minor point to me, though I'd like to get it figured out. I've tried uncommenting that line in environment.rb as well as running the commend through the shell.
Can someone please help me here?
