Import trac into an existing Redmine server

I have a Redmine server with many projects and I'd like to import a trac database with a svn repository into it. It has issues, wiki, etc.

I read http://www.redmine.org/wiki/1/RedmineMigrate and it states "Before starting, you need a fresh Redmine database, with default data loaded (required)". I found this thread about that issue http://www.redmine.org/boards/2/topics/709 which explains the rationale for that requirement and how to work around it manually.

Has been any change since then, that is an automatic importer that can be run on an existing server?
