Redcase Execution Suites
Added by Rob Ingram over 12 years ago
Hi,
I'm investigating using Redmine as an alternative to Trac but the test case management is very important to us.
I've installed Redcase but have a strange issue with it. Every time I go to the Test Cases tab a new Execution Suite named Root gets added to the database. I now have a list of about 60 execution suites called Root that I can't delete. The Execution Suite seems to get created as soon as I go to the Test Cases tab whether or not I carry out any action on the page.
Has anyone else seen similar behaviour or come up with a solution?
This is on a fresh installation of both Redmine and Redcase and seems to happen in both Firefox and IE8.
Thanks,
Rob.

Hi,
we are using Redmine and would like to use the Redcase-Plugin, but we see similiar behaviour.
I'm looking for a solution, but it seems as if other users haven't found this bug.
Everytime I create, delete or change an execution suite, two "root"-suites are created.
Did you advance a solution?
Fabian

Hi guys,
We have fixed this bug in the new version of Redcase which you can download here - https://sourceforge.net/projects/redcase/files/latest/download. Though, please note that the new version works on Redmine 2.
If you have any questions/suggestions/bug reports please use our tracker here - https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=327599. Your feedback is highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Dmitry.
