"users" table populated but unable to log in after db restore

Hi all,
I've restored a mysql redmine database (generated by redmine trunk three months ago).
I'm now running the current trunk against this database and :
- I'm unable to connect the 'old' users already ;
- I'm also unable to connect the users I just created. When I sign in, the 'users' table is populated, The 'sign in' populated the 'users' table but my credentials are refused.
Any ideas ?
