Bugtracker triage on sunday 16.05.2010

I'm planning on spending a few hours on sunday to triage bugs on the bugtracker, if there's anyone interested in helping, please tell me so that we can agree on a time.

Well seeing as how we've got the entire month of June set aside for a bugmash/issue list cleanup - why not spend the time this Sunday crafting some guidelines and policies on actually what to do with all the different types of issues on r.o? Myabe have to create some new statuses, etc. Probably have to create things similar to what is under resources here: http://wiki.railsbridge.org/projects/1/wiki/BugMash#Resources
I'm probably available early Sunday morning, or late in the evening CST. What time zone are you in?

CEST. Just tell me a time that suits you and I'll see if it works for me, but I'm pretty flexible on sunday :-)
Concerning the content of the action, well, I think having some kind of ruleset would be good, but I first wanted to get my toes in the water and see where we want this to go. I'd also really like to have Eric Davis on this even if only in a more passive role because he has lots of insight and especially knows a lot about the redmine history.
Ok, so light triage work (close outdated tickets/patches, do we want an "outdated" resolution for that?, and assign old tickets categories) and some sort of frame/ruleset definition?

I can try to help but I'm trying to take weekends and nights for personal time. I've been working too much lately and am struggling with burnout daily now.
If you come up with questions, feel free to post them to the forums here (or a wiki page) and email me the link. I'm 1,800 emails behind on redmine.org updates.
Eric Davis
(who just posted at a message at midnight about working too late...)

Ok, then scratch even your "passive" participation in that, the goal of having more people take care of "menial" tasks was to work off of jplang and you, not make it more :-)

I think we'll keep it to the forums so everyone can participate.

I'm down. Available from Sunday, May 16, 2010 14:00 UTC to Sunday, May 16, 2010 16:00 UTC. Then I have to go into the office for some hours. I'll be free from Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 23:00 UTC until I collapse into sleep :)

I'd say we only need an hour, I should be able to make it tomorrow 17:00-18:00 CEST (which should be 15:00-16:00 UTC) if that is still ok with you.
