Tmail gem -> Mail gem migration planned?

Hello, Tmail is unmaintained upstream and they suggest to migrate to the 'Mail' gem.

Is redmine planning to migrate, or will redmine keep maintaining tmail internally?
This is relevant to whether I can get redmine packaged for Fedora or not.

If you would like to migrate, what exactly needs to happen? Is there anything I or somebody else could do to help?

Redmine 2.0 uses TMail for receiving emails only. If anyone is able to make it pass all the MailHandler tests with Mail instead of TMail, I'd be happy to switch.

Redmine 2.0.0 will no longer use TMail (r9630).
