Bulk-edit custom fields through context menu

I would like to being able to edit, in context menu, the value of custom fields that are float or text.
Are there any plans to add that feature?

How does that work UI wise? You mean the right click menu, right?

I kind of doubt it being as dropping free form fields into a context menu can be a bit clunky. Hence why the edit button exists. What happens if the field fails validation? That's what is nice about mutli-selects and context menus, you don't have to think about these odd cases.
