Description

I would really like the ability to store my Documents and Files in the attached Repository instead of a directory.
I know I can do this manually, but I am talking about just entering a repository location and use the already entered Repository Login credentials.
Upload a document, it uses the category, title and description for the repository comment.
Click the File Link and it grabs the newest version from the repository
(this could just be a link to the repository download page, but we may want to allow documents to users who do not have repository access).

Syncronizing manually is tedious and unnecessary when the tools are already there to allow redmine to version control the site's documents internally.

I think 2 location text boxes for Documents and Files added to the Repository Tab of Project Setting would do it.
Then update the Documents and Files modules to use those locations if entered.

Possibly add a revision selection list and a comment textbox to the New Document screen.
