Description

We have been using redmine to track server update activities like fixes for heartbleed and shellshock. It would be nice to be able to create a set of sub tasks based off multiple selections for a custom field value.

i.e. I have a custom field that lists all of our servers (lets call it "servers" and it has 10 values). If we know 8 of the 10 are vulnerable, I'd like to be able to create a set of subtasks based off multiple selected values from that "servers" custom field. Each selected value will create a new sub-task that can then be used to track the status of whatever my parent issue is tracking.

I envision it as a check mark next to the drop down fields that would trigger this multiple ticket creation. Probably only one field selectable at a time, or you could end up with a pretty exploded list of tickets.

Correction:
"for a customer field value." should read "for a custom field value."
